Angela McCuiston is a Flutist,Piccoloist,Teacher and Performer

Angela McCuiston received her M.M from The Florida State University and B.M. from Tennessee Technological University. In addition to teaching at Gulf Coast Community College, she actively travels to teach her workshops, maintains a private studio in Panama City, FL and teaches private lessons online.

An avid performer, Angela is Principal flute of the Panama City Pops, Assistant Principal/Piccolo of Sinfonia Gulf Coast of Destin and a member of the 129^th Army Band in Nashville, TN. In addition to her solo perfrormances, she has performed with such celebrities as Pink Martini, Katherine Jolley, Nancy Griffith and Caroline Goulding.

A Certified Personal Trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Angela has studied Alexander Technique, Barbara Conable’s “What Every Musician Needs to Know About the Body” Body Mapping Class and Eva Amsler’s classes in Dynamic Integration. She has recently presented her workshops at Tennessee Technological University, Florida State University, Nichols University and the Florida Flute Association Convention. In 2011 she will be presenting twice at the National Flute Association Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In her downtime, Angela enjoys a passion for cooking and baking healthy food, walking the beach and spending time with her husband, Joe.
